**Responsibilities**:

- Able to work beyond normal working hours when necessary.
- Implement effective maintenance procedures to minimize production down time caused by breakdown of machineries.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems and develop and execute maintenance plans to minimise downtime and disruptions.
- Analyse data to identify trends, diagnose problems and develop solutions to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Implement effective preventive maintenance plan to ensure all facilities and equipment operate efficiently and effectively.
- Initiate necessary modification and improvement to enhance machine efficiency.
- Conduct studies and carry out analysis to ensure capacity of mechanical installations meet the needs of production.
- Initiate immediate actions to recommend for improvement and upgrading when and where necessary.
- Ensure all work requests are sufficiently and promptly fulfilled.
- Assist in developing system and procedures to continuously enhance energy efficiency.
- Conduct constant review on spare parts consumption and initiate necessary purchase of spare parts.
- Analyse spare parts consumption and maintenance cost and initiate effective actions to reduce consumption and maintenance cost.
- Monitor to ensure operation of utility supply and facilities comply with provision of relevant laws, by-laws, rules and regulations.
- Plan constantly for proper upkeep and maintenance of building facilities.
- Ensure continuous development and upgrading of subordinates’ skills.
- Involve actively in cost savings or improvement projects.
- To advise and guide maintenance supervisor in the implementation of effective
maintenance programs.
- Provide proper guidance to subordinates to troubleshoot and overcome machine problems speedily and effectively.
- To prepare monthly reports, capital expenditures and evaluate service providers.
