**About the Role**

A Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires expertise in coffee-making techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. A successful Barista is passionate about coffee, takes pride in their craft, and ensures every customer enjoys a memorable experience.

**Key ResponsibilitiesCoffee Preparation & Beverage Crafting**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty beverages.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistent quality.
- Experiment with and recommend new flavors, ingredients, and drink specials.

**Customer Service & Experience**
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
- Maintain a clean and inviting café environment.

**Inventory & Equipment Maintenance**
- Monitor stock levels and inform the manager of replenishment needs.
- Ensure ingredients, milk, syrups, and coffee beans are fresh and well-stocked.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, coffee machines, and utensils regularly.

**Cash Handling & Order Processing**
- Process payments accurately using POS systems.
- Manage cash transactions and provide correct change.
- Follow standard operating procedures for order fulfillment and service speed.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Prior experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
