Fitter

**Responsibilities**:

- Determining specifications for components to be created based on drawings for mechanical systems.
- Measuring and constructing components out of raw materials through cutting, shaping and grinding.
- To fabricate piping and fittings for Waste Conveying Piping System and other required material (platform, hand rail, grating, etc. by using appropriate welding technique)
- Assembling fabricated components into a larger machine or system.
- Complying with operations and safety procedures.
- Understanding and interpreting diagrams, blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the sequence of installation.
- Monitoring the fabrication and assembly process.
- Adhering to other overall on-site regulations.
- Able to use welding processes and techniques such as SMAW.
- To be responsible for the tools, machine and equipment that is related to the welding work and report to the superior if there any malfunction.
- To ensure all work is complete within target time given by the Superior.
- To ensure necessary precautions are taken and wear appropriate PPE before hot worktask.
- To carry out any other duties as assigned by Superior

**Qualification & Requirement**:

- Must possess at least a SPM or Certificate Engineering (Mechanical, Metal

Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent.
- Fair in welding & mechanical skills
- Good knowledge in oxy-cutting/grinding/etc.
- Able read & write in Bahasa Melayu & English
- Experience in piping works would be an added advantage
- 3-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work at Building Construction Site in Klang Valley.
- Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Welding/Piping or equivalent.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,447.36 - RM2,464.02 per month
