Carpentry Supervisor

We are looking for a hands-on and experienced **Assembly Team Leader** to join our furniture manufacturing team. In this role, you will lead and supervise a team of assemblers, ensure smooth daily operations, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage a team of assembly workers on the production floor.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor team performance.
- Train new team members on tools, safety, and processes.
- Provide coaching, support, and feedback to team members.
- Operate and supervise use of tools like cordless screwdrivers, drills, stapler guns, hand routers, hand planers, and edge banders.
- Use woodworking machinery such as table saws and thickness planers.
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Monitor production flow and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
- Experience with **lean manufacturing or line balancing** is an added advantage.
- Check finished products to ensure they meet quality and specification standards.
- Promote a quality-first mindset on the production floor.

**Requirements**:

- **Proven experience** as a team leader or supervisor in a **furniture manufacturing** environment (required).
- Solid understanding of furniture assembly techniques, tools, and machinery.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
