**Food Hall Manager**

Salary Up to RM 15,000 (depending on experience)

**About Our Client**

Our Client, a luxury department store from Japan, is making its debut in Malaysia for the first time. They occupy 250,000 sq ft at The Exchange TRX, spanning four levels of luxury, international contemporary, and Japanese fashion brands, as well as a premium food hall.

Roles & Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced Food Hall / Supermarket Operations Manager with a passion for Japanese cuisine. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring the overall functionality of the food hall space at SEIBU TRX including maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and general maintenance, driving revenue through marketing campaigns and activations, managing the vendor-owner relationship, and ensuring prompt responses to vendor requests.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Uphold the highest food quality standards, oversee ordering and inventory control for all food and supplies, ensuring mínimal waste and optimal stock levels.
- Oversee budgets, prepare financial reports, and manage cost control measures, including tracking tenant’s sales, rental collection, and operation expenses.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing concerns and facilitate communication between tenants and management.
- Ensure the food hall operates in compliance with safety and hygiene standards, as well as food handling regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
- Work closely with the marketing to attract high footfall to the food hall & assist in promotional activities and events to enhance the food hall’s visibility.
- Leading the team to provide high quality service and maintain the standardisation of service at all times.

**Job Requirement**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related qualification.
- Minimum 10 years of food service or hospitality management, knowledge of Japanese cuisine is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the food industry.
- Strong leadership skills and professional image.
- Demonstrable ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

Pay: RM11,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend jobs
