GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION Responsible to ensure IETS operation are conducted based on SOP. To operate the forklift and trailer are always clean and safe for use. To maintain all effluent plant equipment such as cleaning all strainers, etc. To perform all jobs related to effluent plant as instructed. RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Working schedule is on shift basis or as per instructed by superior / management. 2. Required to work overtime whenever need arises 3. To operate the forklift according to operating manual. 4. To ensure the forklift and trailer are always clean and safe for use. 5. To inform superior whenever the forklift malfunction/damaged. 6. Works performed are to be according to priority and importance. 7. To be aware of the company’s Quality Policy, Occupational Safety & Health Policy and Environmental Policy. 8. To be aware, committed and responsible towards environmental practices in safeguarding the environment and in compliance to environmental requirement. 9. To understand the implications of improper job performance. 10. To know the company’s GMP, Hygiene rules and other do’s & don’ts. 11. Wear prescribed personal protective equipment and to follow practices and procedures established to maintain his and others safety and health. 12. To perform any other tasks as assigned by superior or management. 13. To attend training sessions arranged by the company. 14. To ensure compliance to the local regulations. 15. All the tasks/daily activities must be carried out in accordance to rules and guidelines given by the superior and as per the SOPs. 16. To take proper care when using the toilets and other facilities provided. 17. To maintain a high standard of housekeeping at the work area. 18. As and when required, to assist other departments when requested on forklift operations. 19. To perform all tasks or jobs related to IETS regulation (Environmental Quality Act 1974 (Industrial Effluent) Regulation 2009). 20. To obey company’s rules and regulations, disciplinary procedures and any general instructions issued by the management from time to time. 21. To promptly report any unsafe acts or conditions, accidents near miss accidents or incidents. 22. To ensure all results and laboratory record are maintain properly for future references. 23. To maintain all laboratory equipment such as cleanness, calibration and any other task assigned. KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education: - Minimum SPM qualification, age 18 years and above.
