**Job Summary**

The position is responsible for the Finance Department functions of the hotel;
- As the Head of Finance, he/she will be the person in charge in leading the Hotel Finance Department functions.
- Provide a hands-on inspirational leadership and direction to the entire team.
- Participate in the preparation of the Strategic Financial Business Plans / Annual budget including actively advising Head of Hospitality.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization.
- Provide updates and enhances financial systems, processes and controls to improve efficiency and governance.
- Create and execute the hotel's Finance policies & procedures and strategies.
- Manage forecasting, budgeting, cash flow, financial reporting, financial and tax planning, compliance with accounting standards and tax regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, statutory bodies and bankers for audit/tax/banking/legal matters.
- Prepare monthly management reporting (financial and analysis).
- Ensures a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets, improve operations and profitability.
- Train, supervise and develop team members under your responsibility.

**Prerequisites**:

- Should have a high command of MS Applications like Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of **Back office** or the related accounting systems
- Knowledge of related Hotel Software or Property Management Systems
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Melayu, both oral and written. Knowledge of other languages will be advantageous.
- Excellent financial/business decision-making.
- Strong Financial knowledge.
- Excellent analytical skills and very well organized.
- Willing to relocate to Muar, Johor

**Education**:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Similar or 4-year bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or similar major.

**Experience**:
**6 to 10 years of financial and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations in an up-scale (4/5 Star) hospitality environment.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: From RM10,000.00 per month
