Associate (Asia-pacific)

**Role: Associate (Asia-Pacific)**

**Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia**

Our Associates play an important role in managing and developing junior analysts, driving continuous improvement in our research and analysis processes and leading case and client management. They support our leaders in business strategy, goals and plans and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

The requirements of the role are:
1) Team management
- Leading, managing and developing junior analysts

2) Project management
- Case management, including drafting proposals, managing adherence to procedures and processes, allocation, quality and delivery
- Organisational and multi-tasking skills in prioritising team resources and projects efficiently within timeframes and budgets
- Time management skills. Able to work effectively and calmly under tight deadlines and under pressure

3) Report writing
- Fluency in written and verbal English and ability to read and analyse complex texts in regional languages, such as Chinese, Indonesian, Korean, Japanese and others.
- Excellent communication skills

4) Proven track record of writing public record research and human source reports to a high standard

6) Editorial and presentation skills

7) Client management and networking
- Client management skills including managing expectations, negotiation, handling client communication and briefing clients
- Ability to create networks and build relationships both internally and externally including attending industry events

8) Research and analysis
- A firm understanding of financial crime concepts and regional knowledge of and a passion for the Asia-Pacific region
- Track record of research, analysis and presentation of data
- An ability to condense large amounts of complex information in an accurate, logical and concise manner
- Ability to meet client requirements, identify gaps and ensure quality standards are met through critical and lateral thinking

9) MS Office proficiency
- Have a continuous development mindset and pursue learning and improvement for themselves and their team members
- Be familiar and adept at remote managing, working with a diverse team, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in motivating their team members and others
- Be solutions orientated and be adaptable, flexible, independent and innovative in problem solving
- Have good business acumen and
- Maintain the highest integrity and ethics.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM9,500.00 per month
