**Role Summary**:
The Drafter (Solar) is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed drawings and layouts for solar PV system projects. This includes assisting the design team in developing technical drawings, construction plans, and documentation to support solar project implementation, ensuring compliance with standards and client specifications.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Prepare and revise technical drawings, layouts, and single-line diagrams for solar PV systems using **AutoCAD** or equivalent software.
- Assist Design Engineers in developing **design packages**, including layout plans, electrical drawings, and mounting structures.
- Create **as-built drawings** and documentation after project completion.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, electrical standards, and regulatory requirements (SEDA, ST, etc.).
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure drawings reflect actual site conditions.
- Maintain drawing records, document revisions, and file management for all project drawings.
- Support **design modifications** based on engineering feedback and site updates.
- Assist in preparing **construction and permit drawings** for submission to relevant authorities.
- Stay updated with design standards, drafting best practices, and solar PV system requirements.
- Undertake other drafting-related duties as assigned by the Superior or Management.
**Qualifications / Skills & Competencies**
- Diploma or Certificate in **Electrical Engineering**, **Mechanical Engineering**, or equivalent field.
- Minimum **2-3 years of experience** in drafting for solar PV or electrical engineering projects.
- Proficient in **AutoCAD** and familiar with PV design layouts (roof-top & ground-mounted).
- Knowledge of **solar PV system components**, cable routing, and electrical layouts.
- Good attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with design and project teams.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
