Store Supervisor

The Store Supervisor is accountable for day to day operation of the General, Surgical and Receiving Stores. Ensure the stores functions are carried out in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
Stores activities include receiving stocks, proper storage system of stock, stock inventory management, clear identification of store area/bin location, mid year and year end stock counts, wards/ departments request is fulfilled on time, defects stock or product recall is replaced or exchanged within timeline, receiving and deliveries are processed through hospital approved information system, store cleanliness, maintenance and security, monitoring monthly ordering for General/ Surgical store and unsettled invoices from vendor, reviewing and ensure achievement of store's quality objectives/ KPI, maintain active communication with ward sisters/ department heads and prepares analysis reports related to store.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Controls the Store operations by ensuring that all stocks inventory level is properly planned and replenished to the wards/ departments needs and priorities.
- Ensure the stock replenishment is properly planned so that the unfulfilled or late delivery to wards/ department can be minimized.
- Make sure the physical stocks and figures on record must always tally.
- Ensure stock is controlled in a proper location or bin inside the store that is secure and in useable manner.
- Provide leadership which ensures the department is adequately staffed to carry out store activities, all staffs are properly trained to perform their daily tasks and motivate staffs to enjoy working under supervision and commitment to the company.
- Ensure a proper system to carry out store activities and staffs are maintaining its functions.
- Ensure the stores are kept clean and tidy at all times, availability of labels for identification of location/bins and the access to store is restricted to authorized personnel only.
- Ensure a proper system is in placed to cater ad-hoc, urgent or emergency request from ward/department.
- Develop and seek mutual agreement from wards/ departments of a proper delivery system to ward or department so that the stocks requested are fulfilled in timely manner that agreed.
- Act as liaison party with Nursing and Departmental wards pertaining to the issues arises from Store.
- Carry out periodical analysis of stock with wards/ department heads to determine the stock replenishment plan is up-to-date and reduce wastage so that the store is managed in a cost effective manner.
- Ensure the KPI is appropriate designed and review timely and responsible for the result and its achievement.
- Undertake additional duties and task assigned by the HOD.
**Qualifications**
- Must possess at least Diploma in Business Management specializing in warehousing management or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of store management experiences. Experience in hospital environment will be an added advantage.
- Strong oral and written communication in both English and Malay languages.
- Strong working knowledge of Enterprise Resource System or Hospital Information System.
- Strong initiative, self motivated, able to plan and prioritize workload in order to produce results and meet deadlines (Time management skills)
**Working Conditions**
Working in the air-conditioned office and store area, computer system with hospital approved information system software will be provided.
**Job Types**: Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
