Bim Coordinator

CXL Group is an integrated HR solution provider. We provide bespoke Executive Search Services to our clients across Asia Pacific. We are representing a multinational EPCC company which has several major projects in Malaysia.

**Job summary**:
The BIM Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that BIM standard for the project is defined, distributed to BIM Designers, and is being properly implemented.

**Job description**:

- Work with discipline lead to define standard view template.
- Manages model exchange between all parties within company’s governance on the project.
- Develops and maintains the 3D blocks to be used on the project, ensuring these are in alignment with title blocks used by other authoring programs.
- Configures and maintains the Coordinates of a Project File.
- Ensures any changes in building orientation and coordinates are captured with all internal and external project parties, regardless of authoring software.
- Regularly performs Quality Control review of authoring files to ensure alignment to BIM standards for the project.
- Develops and distributes Clash Reports
- Leads the weekly Clash Detection meetings, dispositioning all clashes and elevating non-resolved issues.
- Participates in weekly Space Management, Leads, and Design Review meetings as needed.
- Leads weekly BIM meeting with all parties when required.
- Coordinate with subcontractor’s BIM Coordinator to ensure the weekly progress models updated.
- Transmitting weekly clash report to sub-contractors to resolve the clashes.
- Enforce Data Exchange process between trades.

**Job requirements**:

- Engineering or related degree or Diploma, &/or design experience
- Minimum 5 Years using 3D Piping software.
- Minimum 5 Years in the engineering and construction industry
- Experience in using 3D Piping software - Plant 3D preferred.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: Up to RM5,500.00 per month
