To assist in develop and test new products, menu ideas, and product concepts and recipes for the company

**Responsibilities**:
1. To carry out R & D on new products and / or improve existing products to fulfill customers’ requirements on time (report to senior if it cannot be submitted by the due date)

3. To assist in the replenish of raw materials stock used in the lab

4. To perform document filing & preparation (ie : raw materials’ specifications, Material Safety Data Sheet, evaluation reports etc).

5. To assist in providing research and idea generation.

6. To assist and study the stability of new and / or existing products.

7. To operate safely and efficiently the equipment and utensils used in the laboratory.

8. To take proper care of equipment and utensils used while performing laboratory activities.

9. To ensure that all work assigned is performed in accordance with specifications, instructions and requirements.

10. To maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned work sites.

11. To ensure that the Lab Assistants strictly adhere to the procedural instructions appropriate for each sample.

12. To undertake the monthly Plant Sanitary Inspection in order to ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is in place.

13. To carry out calibration of measuring devices.

14. To assist in the handling of Customer’s enquiries and complaints.

15. To conduct quality checking and data recording activities in the laboratory.

16. To assist in the implementation of FSMS (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 & HACCP) policies and requirements.

17. To initiate, recommend, investigate, trouble-shoot and provide solutions and actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the products, process and food safety system.

18. To perform other duties as and when instructed by the company or any designated superior.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree, or equivalent in Food Science/ Technology.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written of Bahasa Malaysia and English. Able speak in Mandarin is add advantage.
