Bartender / Barista

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Drink Preparation**:

- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons, following standard recipes and customer requests.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the bar menu, including specialty cocktails, beers, wines, and other beverages.
- Ensure that all drinks are served in compliance with legal regulations and company policies regarding alcohol service.

**Customer Service**:

- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Take orders and engage with customers to provide a positive experience.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Suggest menu items, including food and drinks, to enhance guest satisfaction.

**Bar Maintenance**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, sinks, shelves, and storage areas.
- Ensure that all glassware, utensils, and bar tools are clean and properly stored.
- Restock bar inventory as needed, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages and waste.

**Transactions**:

- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines as outlined by the company and local health authorities.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs, refusing service to intoxicated guests, and following all legal requirements.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of beverage preparation, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.

**Skills**:

- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
