**Responsibilities**:
**Core Responsibilities Medication Management**:
- Assist clinicians in preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
- Ensure accurate typing and printing out prescription labels.
- Ensure label and package prescriptions accurately.
- Directing all questions relating to prescriptions, health matters, or medications to the clinicians.
- Provide information and support to patients regarding medication usage
- Ensure there is no disruption of the medication supply.
- Engage directly with patients for prescription pickup and clarification on minor medication-related queries.
- Process prescriptions and dispense medications under the supervision of the Clinician -in-charge.
- Updates and enter new dug formulary into clinic information system/MHIS.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the clinic in relations to pharmaceutical functions.
**Compliance and Safety**:
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines in handling medications.
- Perform patient counselling on dosage instructions, storage, precautions, compliance, and side effects of the medications.
- Assist the doctor in a medication therapy adherence program (MTEP) for diabetes mellitus, asthma, quit smoking, and other chronic medical conditions as needed.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Ensure pharmacy compliance with local regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with necessary and compulsory reporting to regulatory bodies is done i.e. ADR, MERS etc.
- Conduct safety surveillance of medication.
- Report any adverse drug reaction through the online portal
- Report any medication error
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and submit an incident report if needed
- Conduct routine safety checks
- Check for expired medications and dispose of them according to regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs, marketing events etc.
**Customer Service**:
- Greet customers and answer their queries.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide information on their usage.
**Inventory Management & Administrative Duties**:
- Assist in administrative tasks to support pharmacy operations
- Manage patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Perform data entry tasks and manage electronic health records.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers for prescription refills and authorizations.
- Raise PR for the purchase of drugs, consumables, PPM, and equipment.
- Arrange invoices for payment to the Finance department.
- Review new drug requisition request
- Assist the clinician in charge/medical director in retrieving the appropriate information for a new drug requisition request (pharmacological classification, etc)
- To get the effective and affordable medication (manufacturer/distributor)
- Handle purchasing of psychotropic drugs according to the Poison Act 1952 and Psychotropic Substances Regulation 1989.
- Assist in generating daily, weekly, and monthly pharmacy operations reports.
- Maintain appropriate records related to Pharmacy for clinic use and legislative purpose.
- Receive, unpack, and store medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
- Ensure medication, pharmacy supplies & disposables inventory record is accurate, maintained and updated and order new stock as needed.
- Restocking shelves with medications and other pharmaceutical supplies.
- Ensure there is no wastage of medication and stock holding value is within KPI.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma / bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or equivalent
- Must be registered with Pharmacy Board, Ministry of Health
- Possess/capable of obtaining Poison A License to practice in Hospital premise
- Has knowledge or experience working in a clinic or hospital with a minimum of two years of working experience.
- Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills - oral, written and listening.
- Can work independently with minimum supervision.
- Energetic, enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal with diverse types of people.
- Self-motivated, creative, self-starter.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, remain calm, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
