We are now looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented **Quantity Surveyor (QS) Executive** to join our team in **Bayan Lepas**.

**Job Summary**

The QS Executive will be responsible for managing project costs, contracts, and procurement activities for our ongoing and upcoming **electrical and infrastructure projects**. This role plays a key part in ensuring all projects are delivered within budget, on schedule, and in full compliance with technical and contractual requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BQ) for electrical and infrastructure projects.
- Handle the tendering process, including preparation of tender documents, evaluation of bids, and recommendation for award.
- Monitor project expenditures and prepare regular financial and progress reports for management.
- Administer contracts and manage correspondence with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Evaluate and verify contractor claims, variation orders, and progress payments.
- Conduct site visits and attend project meetings to monitor progress and identify cost implications.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, safety, and legal requirements.
- Support procurement planning and sourcing of subcontractors, vendors, and materials.
- Prepare final accounts and close-out documentation upon project completion.

**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, or electrical projects.
- Practical knowledge in project costing, procurement, and contract management.

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of construction and electrical work practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and/or CostX.
- Familiar with standard forms of contract (FIDIC, PAM, or JKR).
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Willing to travel to site locations within Penang or nearby areas when required.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
