Wharf in Charge

**REQUIREMENTS**: - At least One (1) years working experience in related field. - Fresh graduated is encourage as well. - Possess a valid Class D driving license. - Holding a GDL (Goods Driving License) is an advantage. - An effective communicator with the ability to handle both internal and external communication. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: The roles are to support the various responsibilities of the Bulk Cargo Terminal Department including: - **Wharf In Charge duties**: - Maintaining accurate records of: - Cargo movement. - Vessel schedules. - Quantity and type of cargo loaded and discharged. - Manifests. - Intended Date of Departure (IDD). - Intended Date of Arrival (IDA). - Time and date of operations. - Other reports related to wharf operations. - Coordinating with ship's crew and other port personnel (e.g., SUL Operators, Contractors, and Stevedores) to ensure vessels are properly positioned and secured at the wharf. **Yard Assistants' duties**: - Visually inspecting cargo to verify it matches the description on shipping documents. - Confirming cargo is in good condition. - Recording inspections in the "Cargo Verification Form". - Tracking inventory and cargo levels. - Managing cargo stacking. - Conducting cargo balance checks. - Updating cargo records in the yard. - Monitoring vessel productivity at wharf side to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and daily productivity targets.
