Shipping & Warehouse Assistant

**Scope**:
Responsible to assist for overall day-to-day the smooth running of the warehouse operations, logistics procedure, supervise and manage warehouse staff

**Key Job Authority**:
1. Authority to assist manage receiving of parts and materials.

2. Authority to assist manage shipping of parts and materials.

3. Authority to assist maintain proper inventory control.

4. Authority to assist maintain and manage warehouse

5. Authority to assist administer logistics arrangement

**Key Job Accountability**

1. To assist manage proper warehouse operations of receiving incoming materials and ensure proper data received into system, proper placement/storage, ensure items required inspection delivered on time and fulfill internal (eg. production/engineering) request on timely manner

2. Implement and maintain 5S and ISO requirements and standards at the warehouse

3. Comply with state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements, required to look into legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements/regulations

4. Assist in providing timely and accurate reports and/or information on all inventory levels, receiving discrepancy and damage reports as needed to facilitate decision-making on warehouse related matters

5. Assist in achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and taking corrective actions

**Job Functions**
- To check & confirm incoming &outgoing goods against Delivery Order for each delivery.
- Sustain and continually improve on standard of quality and productivity to meet customer and company targets.
- Supervise warehouse operations including receiving, labeling, segregating, arranging & loading.
- Ensure all the time in sufficiency finished goods for delivery and on time delivery to customer.
- Ensuring the conformance of warehouse operations with ISO and other relevant requirements.
- Ensuring all stock movements are properly & regularly updated and recorded.
- Ensuring teamwork and good rapport with colleagues and cooperate with other section of department to ensure the quality matter is in well perform.
- Ensuring good security and physical condition of stocks.
- Conduct stock count of raw material, packaging materials and finished good on monthly and quarterly basis.
- Ensure all warehouse transactions are updated accurately and prompt.
- Assist and support with activities and tasks associated with tracking and completing all client’s order related day to day activities.
- Maintain cleanliness, health & safety of the warehouse compound.
- Assist in all import shipments into Malaysia including custom clearance and others documentation required to ensure shipments are timely arrive at warehouse.
- Supervise, plan and schedule of manpower and resources deployment to ensure smooth running of daily warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance of Work Instructions and SOPs by operation team.
- To perform weekly and monthly inventory physical count.
- Ensure the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) relating to warehouse operation, including shipping deadlines.
- Lead, train, coach and discipline employees to drive achievement of departmental goals & objectives.

**Education/Training/Experience**:
1. Minimum SPM / High school diploma in logistics / transportation or GED.

2. At least 2 years of working experience in factory/ production environment.

3. Work with a company with ISO Certification 9001-2009

4. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English & Malay.

5. Computer literate and Competency in Microsoft Words, Excel and Power Point skills.

6. Experience in 3PL logistics will be advantage added.

7. Familiar with LMW, logistic, common freight and other related shipping activities & procedures.

8. Proven knowledge of Inventory Control procedures and practices (FIFO, Kanban, etc.).

9. Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
