Database Developer

Develop and maintain efficient and reliable database solutions using PL/SQL and Python programming languages. 2. Design, implement, and optimize database structures, schemas, tables, and views. 3. Create stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages in PL/SQL to enhance database performance and functionality. 5. Perform data analysis and develop data models to support business requirements. 6. Optimize database queries, indexes, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance. 7. Conduct database testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve performance issues and data integrity problems. 8. Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices. 9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements, and provide technical solutions. 10. Document database design, development processes, and system specifications. 7. Collaborate with developers to design efficient and effective database structures 8. Develop and maintain database documentation and data dictionaries 9. Work with team members to implement best practices and standards for database administration 10. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in database development andadministration 11. Provide support to users to trouble-shoot and rectified data related issues - ** Requirement**: - Education Background: >> Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or programming. - Experience: >> Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Database Developer or similar role specificailly in programming using PL/SQL and Python. >> Experience with the PostgreSQL database is essential. >> Familiarity with other databases like Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle is a plus. - Others: >> Solid understanding of relational database concepts and database design principles. >> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. >> Knowledge of data modeling and database optimization techniques. >> Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes. >> Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. >> Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail. - ** Other Language**: English - ** Benefit**: - Salary = RM 6,000 ~ RM 8,000 **Inclusive with fixed health allowance >> Annual Leave - Below 5 years service: 18 days - Over 5 years service: 24 days >> Medical Leave - Below 2 years service: 14 days - Over 2 years and below 5 years service: 18 days - Over 5 years service: 22 days >> Fixed health allowance RM 125 / month >> Insurance (Etiqa) covering dependent (spouse and children) - Outpatient - Specialist - Hospitalization - Term Life (** employee only) >> Working on Public Holiday, Sat, Sun will be entitled to meal allowance (RM 15 ~ RM 30 / day) and Rest Day Allowance (RM 25 / day) or Replacement Leave >> Engagement Activities (company lunch inside office...) >> Performance bonus 1 month averagely (Max 4 months previously) (Parking around the company is around RM 200~RM 250 per month.
