**The Opportunity**

We're looking for an innovative and experienced **UI Designer** to craft unparalleled user experiences, a cornerstone of our success. We heavily promote a work/life balance and being one of the first in our industry to introduce a **4-day work week.**

Reporting to the **CEO & Product Manager** and functioning within an Agile product development team.

An exciting opportunity for someone ready to own the **entire end-to-end** process.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Utilise design and prototyping tools such as **Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar to create interactive** and dynamic prototypes that communicate design concepts effectively.
- Embrace a bold and innovative mindset by consistently pushing the limits of UI prototypes, experimenting with new design techniques, interactions, and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrate a willingness to bridge the gap between design systems in tools like Figma and the **practical implementation of UI designs in HTML and CSS** code.
- Create dynamic and visually compelling UI prototypes that showcase the user interface elements, interactions, animations, and transitions.
- Design consistent and aesthetically pleasing user interface elements, layouts, and visual components based on the project's design system and guideline.
- Adapt designs to changing project requirements and priorities in an agile development environment.
- Prepare detailed design specifications, assets, and guidelines for developers, ensuring smooth handoff for implementation.
- Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the project's design system, ensuring that UI components and patterns are up to-date and usable across different projects.
- Craft pixel-perfect, high-quality visual designs that align with the project's branding and design language.
- Choose appropriate **colour schemes, typography, iconography, and imagery** to enhance the overall visual appeal and user experience.
- Design UIs that are responsive across various screen sizes and devices, ensuring a **seamless experience on both desktop and mobile platforms**.
- Work closely with cross-functional **Agile Scrum** team members, including developers, product owners, and other stakeholders, to translate design concepts into functional user interfaces.
- Document design decisions, rationale, and design patterns used in UI design for future reference and team alignment.

**Skills, Experience & Qualification**
- 5+ years' hands-on experience in UI design, preferably in the SaaS industry.
- Portfolio demonstrating your ability to design clean, sophisticated, and impactful designs.
- Expertise in **Figma** and proficiency in **Adobe Creative Suite**.
- An obsession with precision and pixel-perfect design.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate and **defend design decisions**.
- Knowledge of **HTML and CSS**, aligning designs with web technologies.
- Drive to take ownership and accountability for **end-to-end processes**.
- An understanding of design thinking, rapid prototyping, and an iterative design process.
