JOB SUMMARY

Web developer who will be responsible for developing and/or designing websites for the company. Web developers will be working developers in creating, maintaining, and updating company websites.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain and update existing company website
- Plan, develop, and maintain current and new website
- Participate in weekly meetings with consultant Digital Development Team
- Assist Manager/Leader when required
- Developing features to enhance user experience.
- Ensure a functional and aesthetic design of the website
- Ensuring web design is responsive
- Building reusable code for future use.
- Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
- Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
- Creating tools that enhance the user’s website experience
- Ensuring websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones
- Routinely testing websites for ease of use, speed and other quality factors
- Fixing any website issues or bugs that arise
- Any ad-hoc task given by superior

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field
- Strong understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Minimum 1 year programming experience with any of the following programming languages Java, C# or Python.
- Experience with the Shopify system is a plus.
- Familiarity with back-end technologies.
- Knowledge of web standards and best practices, including accessibility and SEO
- Experience with version control tools
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines
- Effective communication and collaboration skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Contract, Freelance
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
