Occupational Therapist

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As an Occupational Therapist - Hippotherapy Specialist, you will provide therapeutic interventions using horses as a treatment tool to enhance the physical, cognitive, and emotional development of children and adults with disabilities. You will collaborate with our equine team, families, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized therapy plans designed to improve functional independence and quality of life.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Diploma or Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- **Experience**: Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities (e.g., neurological, developmental, or orthopedic conditions) in a clinical, school, or rehabilitation setting preferred.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, treatment techniques, and pediatric or adult care.
- Expertise in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with horses and equine-related equipment safely and confidently.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and to lift, assist, and transport patients as needed.
