Gcpv Designer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and size Grid-Connected Photovoltaic (GCPV) systems including solar PV modules, inverters, and associated equipment suitable for Malaysia’s climate conditions.
- Prepare detailed electrical designs, single-line diagrams, and system layouts compliant with Malaysian standards and Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations.
- Conduct solar energy yield assessments and system performance analysis to optimize design efficiency.
- Collaborate with project teams to support installation, testing, commissioning, and acceptance testing of GCPV systems.
- Ensure designs comply with local regulations and safety standards, especially for the AC side electrical connections which must be performed by licensed electricians.
- Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and reports for clients and internal teammates

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma in Engineering / Engineering Technology or Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Physics, Applied Physics, Industrial Physics) or equivalent recognized by SEDA Malaysia.
- Proven knowledge or certification in Grid-Connected Photovoltaic (GCPV) system design (completion of SEDA Malaysia GCPV Systems Design Course is a strong advantage).
- Proficient in electrical design software and solar PV system simulation tools.
- Understanding of Malaysian electrical codes, standards, and renewable energy regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to solve technical problems and perform system sizing calculations.
- Good command in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin will be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to travel for site assessments and project supervision.

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
