The Hotel Purchasing Executive plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the hotel operates efficiently, cost-effectively, and with high standards of quality and service.
- Collaborate with various departments, vendors, and management to achieve these objectives while adhering to the hotel's policies and budget constraints.
- Managing and overseeing the procurement of goods and services necessary for the smooth operation of the hotel.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and seek opportunities for cost savings and improvements in service quality.
- Monitor and control the hotel's inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure that stock levels are adequate to meet operational needs while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
- Implement inventory tracking systems to optimize stock levels and reduce wastage.
- Ensure that all purchased goods and services meet quality and safety standards.
- Be prepared to handle urgent procurement needs that may arise, such as equipment repairs or replacements.
- Stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations related to purchasing and procurement.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions and contracts.

**Requirements**:

- Possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
- Extensive experience in Purchasing, with at least 2 years of working experiences within the hotel industry.
- Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to build strong partnerships with cross-functional internal and external teams.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with data analysis and data-driven decision-making.
