IT Technician

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance company computer systems, including both hardware and software.
- Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and network issues efficiently.
- Set up and manage network infrastructure, including cabling, routers, and switches, ensuring secure and stable connectivity.
- Monitor network performance, server health, and backup systems to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
- Implement and update security measures, including malware protection, to safeguard against cyber threats.
- Provide technical support and training to employees, ensuring they can use company systems effectively.

**Recommended Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum **2-3 years** of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related role.
- Proficiency in **Windows/Linux** operating systems and software troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of **networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches).**:

- Experience with **server monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.**:

- Familiarity with **cybersecurity best practices and malware protection tools.**:

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for user support and training.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

**Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory)**:

- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or MCSA
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
