B4 Chargeman

**Job Purpose**

To carry out corrective maintenance/preventive maintenance and others activities relating to LV & HV Switchgear, electrical part, plant equipment and the site power distribution network focusing on SWTE plant. Responsible for coordinating electrical export power generation from SWTE plant to TNB grid. Energy Commission authorized person to carry out LV & HV switching during PM or emergency breakdown.

**Job Responsibility**
- Assist in planning, organizing, directing, implementing, controlling, and managing related to electrical system.
- Carry out all operation and maintenance activities relating to LV & HV Switchgear & electrical system of plant equipment.
- Ensure that all related equipment for power export (Turbine/Generator/Outgoing Transformer/Switchgear) in good condition.
- Able to rectify/troubleshoot any problem occur whichever related with power export line.
- Ensure all electrical systems and installations are complied with Suruhanjaya Tenaga and other legal requirement.
- Preparation of monthly reporting to Suruhanjaya Tenaga for power export line (SOLAR/SWTE).
- In charge of maintenance of LV & HV Switchgears, transformers, and others electrical installation including project site power distribution network. Attend to all power and machine failure / short / trip and rectify accordingly.
- Responsible in overall energy monitoring consumption in Kualiti Alam Sdn Bhd and to ensure that the energy efficiency is in line with company policies.
- Carry out daily, weekly and monthly meter reading to counter check with TNB billing and closed monitor of power consumption and motors start up to control and reduce monthly billing.
- Assist to investigate in accidents / incidents related to electrical installation / equipment to discover the root cause and prevent from re-occurrence.
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management from time to time or and when necessary.
**Job Requirement**
- Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia, Diploma holder is an advantage.
- Competent B4 Chargeman with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (11kV).
- Min 5 years’ experience in maintenance and calibration of all M&E equipment including standby genset equipment, LV & HV Switchgear equipment, power distribution systems, power generation and plant equipment.
- Conversant with Electricity Supply Act, Electrical Regulations, IEE Wiring Regulations, etc.
- Min 3 years’ experience in steam turbine and power generator.
- Proactive, hands-on, initiative and action oriented.
- Good communication & writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong in safety and good work ethic.
- Team player, have a sense of responsibility to meet objectives of the organization.
- High skill in problem solving and Able to work independently.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to RM10,500.00 per month
