Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, giving tune-ups, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires.
- Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings.

Disassemble and reassemble parts. Use testing equipment to ensure that repairs and maintenance are effective.

Brake repairers adjust brakes, replace brake rotors and pads, and make other repairs on brake systems. Some technicians specialize in both brake and front-end work.

Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing.

Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles.

Help keep repair shop cleanliness and organized.

Keep a professional appearance.

Perform tire installations and repairs.

Assist in receiving and stocking inventory.

Other duties as assigned. Willingness to learn with hands-on training.

Can handle overhaul engine of continental and Japanese car.

Can read the diagnostic car devices.

Ensure the vehicle seat is covered with plastic before the service and repair work begins. (not applicable to 2 wheels)
- Obtain the SB / JO /WIP from Manage/ TL or SA, and check the status of the vehicle.

The JO shall be kept with the vehicles at all times to provide clear references.

Prepare the tools for service and repair. If there are any parts / tools that are lacking, Mechanic shall inform Work Shop Manager.

Carry out repair work professionally by “Doing-It-Right the First Time”.

Carry out repair work once the problem is diagnosed efficiently to maintain vehicle throughput performance.

Always keep the work area clean, neat & tidy and leak-age free to the flooring or any parts of the vehicle and return the vehicle as it is without a scratch.

Repairs manual and automatic transmissions in automotive vehicles.

Disassembles transmission unit and replaces broken or worn parts, such as bands, gears, seals, and valves.

Adjusts pumps, bands, and gears as required, using wrenches. Installs repaired transmission and fills it with specified fluid.

Adjusts operating linkage and tests operation on road.

May adjust gearbox & carburetor.

May specialize in repair of automatic transmissions and be designated Automatic-Transmission Mechanic.

Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs automotive transmissions and related systems.

An extensive knowledge of computer controls and the ability to diagnose electrical and hydraulic problems are needed to work on these complex components.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
