Our Search Operations team focuses on providing operational support for TikTok's search optimization, user demands and search quality. As a Team Lead in our Search Operations team, you will provide leadership and day-to-day management of a team of Search Operation Specialists. You will take responsibility for ensuring that the team has the skills, resources and support to perform at a high standard while looking at ways to improve efficiency and team success.

To eliminate any doubt, this role involves reading, viewing, listening and examining user-generated content to ensure they comply with community guidelines.

Content includes images, video, text related to every day life, but they can also include (but are not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder.

What will I be doing?
- You will grow the local search operation team and oversee their day-to-day management.
- You will lead the team to establish and maintain search strategy evaluation criteria, provide professional suggestions for the optimization of evaluation criteria.
- You will lead the team to analyze the search quality evaluation results, provide evaluation reports, and be responsible for the quality of evaluation.
- You will continuously evaluate outcomes, optimize the workflow, and ensure a high level of productivity and quality.
- You are responsible for localizing working process and strategies, cooperate with cross-functional teams such as product, research & development teams to optimize search strategies and improve users' search experience.

What do I need to bring with me?
- Bachelor’s Degree or above, advanced degree is preferred.
- You are experienced with search operation processes and workflow, comes from major tech or media company, familiar with DCG evaluation process.
- You are experienced in managing large multicultural teams with diverse skills and personalities.
- You have strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- You demonstrate good judgment, training and management skill.
- You have proven track record of working with cross-functional partners, across different countries.
- You are fluent in English.
- Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
- Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.
