**POSITIONS**

**Junior Quantity Surveyor**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Prepare and submit progress claim to client, verify sub-contractors claim, prepare sub-contractors cost comparison, joint site measurement, prepare sub-contractors payment certificates
- Prepare final claim and final statement account, final measurement and negotiation with sub-contractors
- Excellent Negotiation and Communication Skills
- To administer and prepare all contractual correspondences
- To coordinate the preparation of project site budget and project cash flow
- Preparing Tender Documents
- Calculate and estimate costs and materials, based on the drawings, engineering estimates, material required and labour involved, draw up projected budgets based on Bills of Quantity
- Analyse and conduct risk evaluation on targeting projects
- Evaluate tenders from contractors and sub-contractors, and where appropriate, negotiate with relevant parties
- Follow up closely with Site Supervisors for Project Coordination and document any changes in design and control additional costs involved within budget
- Conduct regular monthly project valuations and costing balance update, generate interim progress claim to collect project payment

**REQUIREMENTS**
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in Construction industry
- Skills: Advance in Microsoft Excel
- Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Able to work independently with minimum guidance
- Well conversant with local market material prices and works costing (Architecture, Civil & Structure)
- Sufficient exposure to MEP costings is advantageous

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
