**POSITION**SUMMARY**:
An Assistant Teacher provides support and assistance to individual students or small groups to help them better understand the content and help them to complete assignments. An assistant teacher also supervises students outside the classroom during lunchtime, field trips or recess.

**PRINCIPAL

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To always have regard for the safety and well-being of the pupil
- To work alongside the individual and groups of pupils in activities specified by the class teacher, establishing good relationships and acting as a role model
- Set up necessary material for classes
- Make sure classrooms are safe and tidy before classes start
- To encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher
- To set out, prepare, use, tidy and clean equipment after use. Assist in the general preparation and tidying of the classroom under supervision.
- To set out and prepare equipment, indoors & outdoors.
- Oversee students during non-classroom times including in-between classes, during lunch, and on field excursions.
- Clearing away materials and equipment after lessons
- To prepare and assist specific activities, supporting pupils to understand instructions in respect of any learning strategies.
- Work as a team with other staff members in planning instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
- To abide by the Company policies and procedures provided by the Human Resource department which will be reviewed from time to time.
- Perform any other duties as entrusted to you by the Assistant Head of Gifted Kids Department / Head of Gifted Kids Departments

**Specialized**Skills,**Knowledge,**and**Expectations**:

- Good knowledge in Special Needs (Learning difficulties)
- Familiar with ABA or Son Rise Programme for autism
- Fresh graduates or SPM Leav er may be considered

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: RM881.67 - RM1,700.00 per month
