Halal Executive

**_Responsibilities: _**
- Liaise with JAKIM and JAIPK or other relevant authority pertaining to the Halal matters.
- To ensure the company’s manufacturing conforms to halal standards and to ensure sources of ingredients are halal and suppliers chosen to supply materials have certified halal certificate.
- To have proper communication with RA & Creative department and ensure halal logo printed on product labels is valid.
- Maintaining company’s Halal Assurance Management System (HAS) by updating the HAS manual, organize and coordinate or monitor HAS activities.
- Establish procedures to assure the consistency of halal production.
- Provide Halal classroom training for all departments.
- To ensure that internal and external audit are made, to ensure the effectiveness of dietary compliance in accordance with the guidelines of Standards Malaysia.
- To conduct Internal Halal Committee meeting and management review meeting.
- To provide a special file containing the related document and can be referred to as reference, includes but not limited to Halal Application, Halal Certificates etc.
- Responsible for finished artwork checking (if required).
- Providing appropriate assistance or support as and when needed.

**_Requirements: _**
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Science background or related studies with Halal Executive Certificate or Diploma/Degree in Shari’ah studies.
- Preferably with 1-2 years of working experience in Halal industries or food/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Possess strong leadership and management skills with analytical and planning abilities.
