Product Control Change & Central Controls **Job Summary** To provide support to the Europe and APAC Product Control functions in: - Leading Change and Building Solutions: driving internal process change within Product Control, and acting as an SME and/or Business Analyst for wider change initiatives affecting Product Control - Central Controls BAU Support: supporting a number of existing automated Excel/Access tools run centrally for Product Control All responsibilities carried out in accordance with Code of Conduct, RBC Values and Guiding Principles ensuring adherence to Privacy principles. - **Leading Change and Building Solutions**: - to work alongside your Manager based in the UK to manage, lead and co-ordinate the drive to enhance controls, automate, re-engineer workflows, and replace legacy systems. - it is expected that the focus of the role will vary over time and that the incumbent could spend a significant proportion of their time on a particular task or work on multiple smaller tasks at the same time. - to work with the other members of the Product Control team to actively execute and drive through change. - responsibilities include delivery of micro projects involving business analysis, and business process change. - key participation in the ongoing development of IT and other solutions within the department in order to create more efficient and value-added procedures. - potential to influence and drive strategic change especially where process or functionality has already been developed. - adopt and promote the agile approach to projects. - to maximise the efficiency gains from technology and business process changes. - **Central Controls BAU Support**: - to oversee the running of, and in time provide SME/technical support for, the following central controls: - daily Inventory FOBOs for Bonds, Exchange Traded Derivatives, Interest Rate Swaps, and Credit Derivatives.- monthly packs that document key controls are operated ("SODS").- daily P&L attribution calculation engines for Bonds, Exchange Traded Derivatives, FX Forwards and Repos.- daily P&L attribution FOBO reconciliations for Interest Rate Swaps and Credit Derivatives.- Monthly support for the workflow tool used to manage IPV and VA balance reporting ("VCON"). - to provide cover to a second member of the Product Control change team in supporting the following controls: - monthly and bi-monthly MI packs for the Rates and Credit businesses. - to ensure immediate and direct supervisors are kept adequately appraised of pertinent issues and developments. - ensuring adequate documentation exists to support existing processes. **Job Skills** Accounting, Business Analytics, Financial Accounting Systems, General Ledger Administration, Group Problem Solving **Additional Job Details** **Address**: PERSIARAN IRC 2, IOI RESORT CITY IOI CITY TOWER ONE:PUTRAJAYA **City**: Putrajaya **Country**: Malaysia **Work hours/week**: 40 **Employment Type**: Full time **Platform**: OFFICE OF THE CFO **Job Type**: Regular **Pay Type**: Salaried **Posted Date**: 2024-09-23 **Application Deadline**: 2024-11-26 **I** **nclusion** and Equal Opportunity Employment At RBC, we embrace diversity and inclusion for innovation and growth.
