Mandarin Teacher

We are looking for an experienced and an enthusiastic Mandarin teachers to complement our dedicated team of outstanding teachers. The role is on a full time basis, working closely with the head of department to help deliver all aspects of the Mandarin curriculum across primary and middle year level.

**Required Skills and expertise**:

- Curriculum knowledge of PYP/MYP would be an added advantage
- Have a proven track record of improvement
- Be able to creatively contribute to the development of the students and the curriculum

**Responsibilities**:

- Teaching Mandarin to a range of classes of different levels and language proficiency.
- Monitoring and evaluating the progress and development of the students under one’s charge and giving useful and timely feedback to students and parents.
- Preparing and assessing student learning to facilitate positive and effective development.
- Working with others in supporting the department in curriculum development/review and other departmental needs.
- Perform student management duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics & Literature (Mandarin) or any related field. Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience in the Education Industry, particularly in International School will be an added advantage, with IB knowledge.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin is an advantage
- Have a strong commitment to and passion for education.
