Job Description:
The position reports directly to the Operation Manager.
Lead and manage the maintenance team including contractors related to maintenance, wastewater treatment plant and boilers.
Responsible for handling and registering all activities related to these areas including the preparation of monthly maintenance reports and costs.
Responsible for the safe and effective maintenance, repair or replacement of the plant equipment, facilities and utilities to ensure and support a robust production system and maximum production quantity and quality.
Support the global policies, goals, and objectives of the company.
Initiate, implement and manage the plant maintenance program based on the best practices in the Oleo-Chemical-Food industry, with a focus on planned preventive maintenance. Work alongside with the production team on the site.
Develop and implement projects that improve plant energy and efficiency or a reduction in operating cost.
Optimizing spare parts inventory, monitoring the utilization and inventories of space parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment, initiating reordering. Actively sourcing the potential local suppliers to ensure highest degree of stability on the site.
Preparing reports, analyzing data and providing recommendations for plant improvement.
Oversee engineering projects with cross-functional teams, actively participating and contributing to the new products as required.
Managing projects and ensure the completion within budget, expectations and company standards.
Being a member of the organization's future QEHS team, ensure the compliances with all GMP regulations; ISO, HACCP and other associated certification systems. As well as assure the compliance with occupational health, safety and environmental standards in the factory.

Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of solid engineering working experience in maintenance field.
Management role in food manufacturing industry.
Boilerman experience
Experienced with ammonia based cooling system.
With knowledge of the Oleo-chemical food plant.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,421.88 per month
