**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:

- Responsible for sourcing and purchasing products based on customer demand and sales trends.
- Manage and maintain stock levels, ensuring optimum inventory for seamless operations.
- Assist in developing and selecting new product lines that align with market trends.
- Build relationships with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to understand product requirements and ensure alignment with client needs.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Oversee and manage the entire procurement process, from identifying potential suppliers to finalizing purchase agreements.
- Research, select, and purchase merchandise in alignment with business goals and market trends.
- Negotiate with suppliers for the best pricing, terms, and conditions, ensuring competitive advantage.
- Track and maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and perform regular audits.
- Plan and forecast purchasing needs based on sales projections and historical data.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, including order follow-up and delivery tracking.
- Support the sales team by ensuring the right merchandise is available to meet customer demand.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and ISO9001 certification requirements.
- Handle vendor relationships, ensuring efficient communication and addressing issues such as delivery delays or product quality concerns.
- Prepare regular reports on stock movements, purchasing trends, and cost analysis.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Open to Malaysian citizens only.
- A Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 2-5 years in a merchandising or purchasing role, preferably in the apparel, garment, or têxtile industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Knowledge of software such as Autocount is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills and a good understanding of supply chain management.
- **Must have the ability to read, write, and speak in Mandarin.**:

- Excellent communication skills in Malay and English.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess own transport.
- Willing to be based at **Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor**.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
