Technician (Injection Moulding)

.Job Description:

- **Conduct and Plan Preventive Maintenances** as per schedule from shot scope.
- **Identify and troubleshoot** issues with machines and equipment, and perform repairs as needed to minimize downtime and optimize production. (Use of Shotscope).
- **Conduct daily machine setting** parameter checklist and recording including Cooling tower, Low Pressure Compressor & Chiller.
- **Participate in root cause analysis** and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failures.
- **Participate in continuous improvement** initiatives to optimize production processes and improve product quality.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new production processes and procedures
- **Process Optimization**: Develop, assess, and document new and existing processes. Implement changes to improve quality, productivity, and equipment efficiency.
- **Technical Leadership**: Provide technical support, training, and mentorship to process technicians, operators, and other molding personnel.
- **Process Documentation**: Maintain clear and comprehensive process documentation, ensuring procedures are understood by production employees.
- **Quality Improvement**: Monitor and document issues with injection molds, recommending repairs and refurbishments based on production requirements.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify and implement continuous improvement projects in molding, assembly, and tooling departments.
- **Equipment Management**: Assist with the planning, purchase, installation, and qualification of new production equipment, including injection machines, automation, robotics, material handling, and related auxiliary equipment systems.
- Report any issues or concerns to Engineer.
- **Compliance**: Promote adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Job Requirements:

- Minimum Diploma in Industrial Maintenance/Engineering/Machine Maintenance/Injection Moulding/Polymer Processing Technology/ Process Control & Automation/Injection Molding Fundamentals/any other related fields.
- Have experienced in operating and setting up **PET-specific machines** (e.g., Husky HyPET, Huayan, Netstal, Engel).
- Able to work in team and have reporting mindset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
