Monitor, review and audit the OSH aspects of factory/ plant and employees' behaviors to achieve continuous improvement.
- Provide necessary OSH training to increase employees' awareness towards importance of safety and health
- Lead the assigned safety programs & environmental activities and conduct HIRARC.
- Develop safety awareness program and promote effective joint consultation with relevant Stakeholders to improve OSH.
- Support operations in achieving the OSH KPIs.
- Develop and implement Hazardous Chemical Management, as well as spillage control.
- Manage scheduled waste disposal, air emission quality from chimney, forklift management.
- Supporting the corporate and plant management in ensuring the achievement of the Safety policy and Environmental Policy.
- Ensuring the corporate and plant management in compliance with the regulations and rules of the local statutory authority (DOSH & DOE)
- Assist the Safety & Health Committee in any inspection of the workplace & investigate any accident/ near-miss/ dangerous occurrence for the purpose of checking the effectiveness of any measures taken in compliances of with the Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 or any regulation under the act.
- Support ESH Manager on the machine guarding improvement, safety protection improvement and safety assessment from engineering perspective.
**Requirements**:

- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements such as Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, Factories and Machinery Act 1967, Environmental Quality Act 1974.
- Proficient in Ms Office.
- Independent and has good communication skills.
- Knowledgable on current OS&H and environmental legislations and practices.
- Good Manufacturing Practice

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
