JOB VACANCY

POSITION - LORRY DRIVER 7 TON

LOCATION - BUKIT JELUTONG, SHAH ALAM

SALARY - RM 2000-3000

Job Description:
- 1. Take orders for delivery

2. Assist in loading goods onto the lorry and placing them in proper locations.

3. Stack boxes in an upright manner to ensure safety during transport.

4. Make sure that all paperwork accompanying goods is complete.

5. Record amount of boxes loaded and their contents.

6. Map best possible routes before setting out.

7. Drive lorry on pre-set routes using navigations systems such as the GPS.

8. Fill up the lorry with fuel before setting out on a route.

9. Maintain knowledge of local and federal routes.

10. Monitor road, traffic, and weather conditions and take alternate routes where required.

11. Deliver goods to their destinations and take customers’ signatures on receipts.

12. Inform origin of delivery status and any additional information such as customer complaints.

13. Perform preventative and regular maintenance on lorries and ensure that vehicle fluid is sufficient.

14. Report any serious mechanical problems to the concerned individual within the company.

15. Clean and polish lorries and ensure that everything is in good working order.

16. Store lorry cleaning and maintenance equipment and tools in a safe place

Requirement:
Must Possess Class D & E License and Holders of CDL License.
Min 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Able to start working immediately will be an added advantages.
