Chef Helper

Food Preparation:

- **Assisting with cooking**: Helpers might help with basic cooking tasks like stirring, mixing, and plating food under the supervision of a chef.
- **Preparing ingredients**: This includes washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients according to the chef's instructions.
- **Assisting with plating**: Helping to arrange and present food attractively on plates.

Cleaning and Organization:

- **Maintaining a clean workspace**: This involves washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment, sanitizing surfaces, and keeping the kitchen tidy.
- **Stocking and storing supplies**: Ensuring the kitchen is adequately stocked with ingredients and cleaning supplies, as well as proper storage and rotation of food items.
- **Disposing of waste**: Removing garbage and ensuring proper waste management practices.

Other Responsibilities:

- **Receiving and storing deliveries**:Helping with the unloading and proper storage of food and supply deliveries.
- **Inventory management**:Assisting with tracking inventory levels and reporting when supplies need to be replenished.
- **Following food safety and hygiene**:Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations and procedures.
- **Assisting with mise en place**:Preparing ingredients and equipment before cooking, such as setting up cooking stations.
- **Collaboration with kitchen staff**:Working as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
