Factory Manager

Our client is a renowned company in the home furniture and furnishing industry. Located in **Muar**, they are looking for a **Factory Manager** to be a key driver of operational excellence and product quality within our woodworking facility.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Oversight**:Lead and manage all aspects of production, from raw materials to finished goods, with a focus on bedroom sets and kitchen cabinets.

Coordinate daily operations to meet production targets, schedules, and quality standards.
Implement efficient manufacturing processes to maximize output and minimize waste.
- **Quality Control**:Enforce rigorous quality control measures to ensure that all finished products meet or exceed established quality standards.

Collaborate closely with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any product-related issues.
- **Operational Efficiency**:Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and reduce production costs.

Optimize resource allocation, including staffing levels, equipment usage, and material utilization.
- **Team Leadership**:Supervise and motivate a skilled production team, providing guidance, training, and support.

Foster a positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- **Inventory Management**:Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure availability for production and customer demands.

Collaborate with supply chain teams to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

Promote a safety-conscious culture and implement best practices to prevent workplace incidents.
- **Technical Expertise**:Leverage deep knowledge of wooden furniture manufacturing techniques, including finishing processes for bedroom sets and kitchen cabinets.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide expertise in the resolution of production challenges.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Woodworking, Engineering, or a related field.
- **Minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role within a wooden furniture manufacturing factory, with expertise in bedroom sets and kitchen cabinet production.**:

- Strong understanding of woodworking processes, equipment, and finishing techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead production teams effectively.
- Proficiency in production planning, inventory management, and quality control.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in manufacturing.
