Assistant Baker

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum qualification of SPM or any other equivalent qualification. Preferably possess a certificate in culinary arts, pastry and baking arts related courses.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bakery retail or baking.
- Knowledge and familiarity in pastry and baking arts.
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Good personal hygiene
- Good team player
- Must obey to health codes pertaining to safety and sanitation of the work area and cooking

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Food Preparation: Preparing all baked goods offered for sale, adhering strictly to recipes and techniques.
- Quality Control: Ensuring all products meet the established standards for flavour, texture, and size.
- Packaging and Labelling: Properly packaging and labelling finished products.
- Recipe and Method Adherence: Learning and consistently following all recipes and baking methods.
- Allergen Awareness: Understanding and adhering to allergen guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and being knowledgeable about product ingredients.
- Attention to Detail: Maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
- Positive Attitude: Maintaining a positive and service-oriented demeanour.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining daily production records, including leftovers, product baked, weather, day of the week, date, and quantity of fruit used.
- Teamwork: Directing fellow team members.
- Maintaining a Clean and Safe Workspace: Consistent cleaning and tidying of the kitchen, including countertops, floors (sweeping, mopping), emptying trash, and cleaning all equipment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
