Lecturer - Media Technology

**Duties include but will not be limited to the following**:

- Plan, deliver, and prepare teaching materials and lesson content for students, utilizing appropriate media and IT resources.
- Ensure a high-quality learning experience which meets both internal and external quality standards is consistently maintained.
- Ensure students understand the topics covered to prepare them for assessments and examinations.
- To inspire and foster students’ creativity and personal development.
- Contribute to the teaching, assessment and ongoing development and management of Media Technology related programs.
- Participate in the development, administration and marking of exams and assignments, ensuring students understand all necessary requirements.
- Track and review student progress, achievements and attendance whilst providing feedback and ensure proper records of progress are maintained.
- Participate in meetings deemed necessary by the Director of Academics.
- Contribute and participate in student activities, committees, and clubs.
- To initiate/implement/support Media Technology related events (such as exhibition/sharing/workshop/etc.) that would increase the academic experience of students and team.
- Provide support for documentation related to government compliances.
- Any other duties reasonably assigned.

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Media Technology or related fields.
- Master's or Ph.D. holder in Media Technology, Digital Media or a related field.

**Digital Media**:

- 2D Illustration
- Visual Communication
- Digital Graphics & Imaging

**Film**:

- Producing/Directing/Broadcasting
- Cinematography
- Screenplay

**Animation**:

- 2D & 3D Animation
- Compositing
- Digital Editing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Petaling Jaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
