IT Draughtsman

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed technical drawings and schematics for IT infrastructure systems, including network diagrams, server setups, wiring layouts, and other IT-related designs.
- Collaborate with engineers, technical manager, and project managers to gather project requirements and ensure all designs meet project specifications and standards.
- Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to create and modify plans, layouts, and technical drawings.
- Review and revise existing plans and layouts for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards and local regulations.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and updates to technical plans.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations or reports related to Technical Manager.
- Support project teams by providing accurate and timely drawings and revisions as needed.
- Stay up to date with advancements in IT infrastructure design and technology.
- Able to do Project Administrator works such as project documentation, records, and reports.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor as needed.
- Able to do administration job like filing and others.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an IT Draftsman or in a similar drafting role, preferably in IT infrastructure, cabling or networking.
- Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools.
- Solid understanding of IT systems, networks, and related infrastructure.
- Ability to interpret and create complex technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in IT infrastructure design is a plus.
- Relevant diploma or degree in IT or Engineering is preferred.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
