JOB PURPOSES - To control, implement and supervise direct reporting technician and sub-contractor during FAS activity of building facilities services work as well as ensure that they are safe, reliable and cost effective in order to have MMHE BU and SU enjoy uninterrupted supply and support at the most effective costs to facilitate MMHE’s current and future operational needs. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Plan and implement job planning, corrective action and execution of Building and Structure Project as per project requirement and specification. - Coordinate works with sub-contractor, customer and other division of required projects operation (i.e:preparation of goods gate pass, MIRN, IWR, Permit to Work, UCUX, Equipment Pass renewal, equipment safety tag renewal, first aid kit and others). - Take corrective actions as concluded from audits, inspections and incident investigations. - Supervise and monitoring team performance, work quality and HSE. - Supervise the team during rectifying shortcomings (equipment downtime, cost-overruns and customer’s dissatisfaction) for management’s information and decision makings. - Check and ensure the PTWs are complied prior to approvals. - Monitor and assist direct reporting technician and subcontractor daily activities in assuring the work fluidness. - Plan and maintain implementation of QHSE initiatives in FAS Department to ensure its staff and workers practice QHSE mind set as part of their daily work culture. - Assist in investigating report HSE incident and accident. - Identify hazards and develop controls for hazardous activities through conducting daily HSE tool-box meeting, job safety analysis (JSA) and U-see U-act walkabouts. - Maintain a healthy and conductive work culture in FAS Department that encouraged cohesiveness and commitment among staffs to promote a positive and pro-active mind set. - Monitor MMHE and contractor employees to adhere all QHSE rules and regulations such that all works are conducted safely and effectively. - Creates esprit within the team by promoting wins and success and encouraging open dialogue/motivates or inspires others with team leadearship. - Implement and plan effective projects records of civil and structural works area including project schedules updates, inspection record, project record and retrievable when required especially during the audits. - Monitor and updating spare inventory record and responsible to keep sufficient stock in order to have uninterrupted spares supply during project and work being done. REQUIREMENTS - Certificate / diploma in Civil or any related discipline. - At least 3 years’ experience in Civil Engineering and Construction.
