Shipping Officer

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Keeping necessary License in order
To manage and keep track of the Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (L.M.W) License’s expiration date and Bon Am
To supervise monitoring submission of the Monthly Custom Report
To coordinate renewal Certificate of Origin (CO) FMM
To coordinate renewal of MITI form D membership

Import - By Sea / Air
To supervise incoming import shipments that arrive at Port Klang, KLIA, and by courier service
To facilitate print-out & pass every important invoice packing list and save for account dept
To supervise if there is a problem with invoicing, BL, or Exemption
To collaborate all the billing is according to the quotation

Export
To manage monitoring shipment and stock movement by Transfer schedule and system
To supervise, communicate, and entertain customer requests or queries for the shipment
To manage sales PO, shipping arrangement, and documentation status
To coordinate customer requests to the Quality Assurance Department and Engineering Research Department

Planning
To prepare a plan for yearly group budget expenses twice a year
To prepare for the staff's skill maps and group target activities
To prepare a plan for the cost management review - cost reduction
Perform yearly Audits for forwarders and visit customers for discussion if necessary

Machinery Shipment
To facilitate a quotation survey for the delivery and un-pack machine
To coordinate the delivery schedule and safety requirements after the customs clearance
to compute all the import machines filling in a good monitoring and report

Claim Damage / Cargo Discrepancies
To handle claims towards Marine insurance if there is any discrepancy accident happen
To prepare all the necessary docs and claim letter to the responsible party
To supervise and follow up on the claim payment

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Good communication and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Good planning, organizing and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of customs clearance, valuation and classification of import and export will be an added advantage.
- Possess high sense of responsibilities and able to work on own initiative.
- Customer-focused (in order to meet the needs of each customer).
- Detail-oriented (in order to produce accurate materials).
- Team player (in order to work well with other members of the team)

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM4,199.00 per month
