**Art Teacher Job Scope**
- **Curriculum Development & Teaching**:

- Plan, develop, and implement an **art and art history curriculum** that aligns with educational standards and meets the learning goals of students across various levels.
- Design **age-appropriate art projects**that cater to students' abilities and encourage creativity, exploration, and skill-building.
- Provide instruction on **art techniques**, including drawing, painting, sculpting, and mixed media, while introducing students to **art history and influential artists**.
- **Set & Prop Design for Performances and Exhibitions**:

- Create **musical props and sets** for school performances, ensuring high-quality and visually appealing designs.
- Design and construct **large-scale artworks or sculptures** for school exhibitions, art fairs, or special events.
- Lead and manage the planning and execution of **extravagant art displays** for school-wide exhibitions.
- **Material Management**:

- Plan and organize the **purchase of art materials**, considering budget constraints and the needs of the curriculum.
- Maintain and monitor the **inventory of art materials**, ensuring a sufficient supply and proper storage.
- Prepare and arrange all required art materials before class, ensuring a smooth and efficient teaching process.
- **Assessment & Feedback**:

- Assign art projects that suit students’ levels and foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Utilize **rubrics to assess students' progress and art skills**, providing constructive feedback to help them improve and grow as artists.
- Evaluate and document students' artistic development and maintain records of their progress.
- **Exhibition & Event Planning**:

- Organize **art exhibitions**, including the presentation and curation of student work, collaborating with other departments if necessary.
- Collaborate with the performing arts or music departments to create visually impactful **sets, props, and backdrops** for school performances or concerts.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
