**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- To be responsible for overseeing, directing, and managing the construction of projects from conception phase to completion phase;
- To monitor daily site progress, site works, reporting quality deviations, deficiencies and non-compliance of contract;
- To ensure the project is effectively monitored and implemented to achieve successful completion as per the approved Main Schedule;
- To ensure implementation of works carried out by contractors are in compliance with applicable approved work method statement and drawings in accordance to company policy and procedures;
- To ensure strict site supervision and implement quality controls throughout the construction cycle ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within contract provisions and timescales;
- To provide recommendations and institute measures for improvement;
- To conduct and/or attend all regular site meetings and relevant meetings, which includes reporting to the Management and consultants on project progress, site issues and contractor’s performance;
- To review construction methods and to implement cost effective and efficient measures;
- To monitor, control and review main contractor & sub contractors’ performance and evaluate the progress of works and claims;
- To monitor site safety standards and guidelines and ensure these are maintained at all times by conducting safety inspections;
- To ensure proper documentation of records such as daily site activity photos and any record of work prior covering up;
- To plan site material delivery, stock taking measures, stock movement and placement of construction materials.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering, or equivalent;
- At least 8 years of field experience and completed min. 2 high rise projects and experienced in CONQUAS / QLASSIC assessment;
- Adequate knowledge and technical understanding of construction such as building codes, trade sequencing, and best building practices;
- Experienced in Project controls, which involves the ability to evaluate data and determine the needs of a project;
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to communicate with all levels of staff;
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, Project Management Software and Drafting Software.
