**Primary Objective**:
- Support the Section Head, Regional & Islamic Credit Policy on the establishment, implementation, maintenance and review of the credit framework, policies and guidelines for regional & Islamic operations; Management of Panel Valuers and Panel Insurer/Takaful Operator for local and/or regional operations.
- Administer, maintain, monitor and review Group’s Panel Valuers and Panel Insurers/Takaful Operators; perform periodic review on the performance of Panel Valuers and Panel Insurers/Takaful Operators.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Strategic and Planning**
- Support to Section Head in relation to the establishment, implementation, maintenance and review of the credit framework, policies and guidelines for regional & Islamic operations; Guidelines and Manuals for Management of Panel Valuers and Panel Insurer/Takaful Operator for local and/or regional operations.
- Administer, maintain, monitor and review Group’s Panel Valuers and Panel Insurers/Takaful Operators; perform periodic review on the performance of Panel Valuers and Panel Insurers/Takaful Operators.
- Keep abreast of developments in the industry to ensure the quality of the panel valuers and panel insurers/Takaful Operators remain satisfactory.
- Read and understand thoroughly the new/revised regulatory policies/guidelines and highlight to superiors on gaps/concerns identified.
**Periodic review / Monitoring**
- Ensure accuracy of data and information presented/assessed in the periodic review of Panel Valuer and Panel Insurer/Takaful Operator.
- Propose action plan in the review of Panel Valuer and Panel Insurer/Takaful Operator whether to maintain, upgrade, downgrade, suspend and delisting supported with the data and information.
- Prepare proposal for relevant approving authorities for approval.
**Internal Process Improvement**
- Provide support to develop, implement and review of credit framework/policies/guidelines/Management of Panel Valuers and Panel Insurers/Takaful Operators:
- to address issues raised by BNM/regulators
- to address issues raised by business/support units
- to address issues raised by auditors/Compliance
- to address new/revised BNM/regulatory policy/guidelines
- to support any new initiatives in the Bank/respective country
- Prepare draft responses and follow-up actions of the findings/recommendations by the auditors and regulatory bodies and conduct amendments to documents related to Panel Valuer and Panel Insurer/Takaful Operator.
- Prepare draft comments on concept papers/surveys to BNM/regulators on management of Panel Valuers and Panel Insurer/Takaful Operator for review by Section Head.
- Assist to maintain the Group’s policies and guidelines for administration of panel valuers and panel insurers/Takaful Operators.
- Assist to prepare proposal for empanelment of valuers and insurers/Takaful Operators to the relevant approving authorities for decision.
- Assess the requests for empanelment of valuers and insurers/Takaful Operators to ensure they comply with the internal guidelines.
- Assist to maintain the list of panel valuers and panel insurers/Takaful Operators.
- Undertake credit projects assigned from time to time.
**Internal Customer Satisfaction**
- Provide support to business and support units in advisory capacity relating to credit framework/policies/guidelines/panel valuers and panel insurers/Takaful Operators.
- Seek input from business units to continue monitor the services provided by panel valuers and panel insurers/Takaful Operators.
- Assist with the review of processes/ products/proposals related to credit framework/policies/guidelines/Panel Valuer and Panel Insurer/Takaful Operators originated by business/support units from local and regional operations.
**Learning/Competitive Position**
- Develop KPIs and execute programs for training and self-development**.**
**Others**
- Relieving other team members.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc assignments related to credit risk management from time to time.
- Requirements
**Requirements**:
Bachelor Degree - Economics, Finance/Banking, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Preferably certified Bank Risk Management practioner, PCC or equivalent qualifications
Minimum 6 years of experience in credit risk management functions.
- Possess good knowledge of the Bank’s credit policies, processes and products and regulatory guidelines.
- Good command of English and well versed in Microsoft Words, Excel and Power Point.
- Possess good written and communication skills.
- A committed team player with good interpersonal skills.
