**Objective**:
A Lorry Driver is responsible for the goods they are assigned to transport. They are responsible for keeping to a schedule and ensuring that the goods are delivered intact, without damages and as requested by the customer. A Lorry Driver's main duties and responsibilities include:
**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the vehicle is mechanically sound and legally roadworthy
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance in the event of an accident or damage while in transit
- Secures heavy loads and large items safely for transport
- Arrange the most efficient route from the pick-up point to the drop-off point
- Notify about road closures, accidents and traffic diversions
- Arrange several deliveries and deliveries on each working day
- Supervise and assist in loading and unloading delivery items into trucks
- Update vehicle log books, record deliveries and track mileage
- Comply with all MOT and internal rules and regulations

**Lorry Driver Requirements**:

- Ability to drive long distances in tight conditions while maintaining focus
- The ability to drive all night or spend long periods of time away from home
- Mechanical skills, such as changing engine oil
- Ability to communicate with both suppliers and customers and provide up-to-date information, such as delivery times
- A full driving **(License Class-E) (5 Tan)**:

- Certificate of Professional Competency (CPC) for driving
- Must be over 18 years old with the ability to lift 20 kilograms

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
