Kitchen steward

We are seeking a diligent Kitchen Steward to join our Resort. In this role, you will ensure the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, contributing to a seamless kitchen operation. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards will help us deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces in compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist in food preparation and presentation as needed, working collaboratively with the culinary team
- Manage dishwashing operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely service
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and kitchenware, placing orders as necessary
- Support the team in organizing and storing food products to maintain quality and safety
- Participate in regular training to stay updated on food handling and sanitation practices

Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen
- Familiarity with various kitchen equipment and tools
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
