Account Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting transactions including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and journals.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Process SST submissions and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Support the preparation and issuance of e-Invoices in compliance with LHDN guidelines.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and ensure completeness of supporting documents.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and summaries as required.
- Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or queries.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Management.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant working experience is preferred. Fresh graduates may be considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting Software, SAP and etc) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SST regulations and LHDN’s e-Invoice framework is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
